If your opponent needs a lot of energy(which points 1~3 should insure) they'll need economy buildings. With good ice bonus the threshold is usually lvl 10 instead of 12).Ĥ - Economy buildings should be spread out and not concentrated in one place. Basically, a cannon should be able to withstand more than a single barrage or 2x artillery(so without ice, at my levels of artillery/barrage that's lvl 12, anything below is either 2x artillery or 1x barrage. Those cannons should be in the lvl 12~14 range and preferably you have ice. Ie, it should never be possible to attack the HQ before taking out all boom cannons.ģ - Any line of attack should need to take out at least 3 cannons(HQ level 16, you should have 5 cannons making this fairly easy to attain). A corollary to this is that your boom cannons shouldn't be close enough that a barrage on one splashes onto the other.Ģ - All your boom cannons must be non-avoidable. A total of 15% or more to building HP is awesome(around 30% and I just give up outright).
To get here, you need maxed out boom cannons(at your level I think that's more than 6) and ice statue(s). If I can't take out all boom cannons that way it hugely complicates how I can attack. If I take out 3, I get a flare after landing for some maneuverability. Basically, out of the gate I can expend 2x barrage + 2x artillery and still land all my tanks if I take out 2 buildings. Here's what counts the most and this is the case where when I run into it I just don't attack someone at all(or get decimated if I try):ġ - It takes more than 1x barrage + 1x artillery to take down any one boom cannon. I'm level 36 and use mainly tanks on attack(level 4 tanks, 8 tanks, 6 medics when all force is available). Well, I'll reply from the attacker's side.
